Review of 'Little Children' on 'Goodreads'

If you've seen the movie, then I don't know that you necessarily need to read the book, as the movie pretty much renders it intact, except for the interestingly divergent ending. It's quite an enjoyable read, in any case---Perrota's writing is impressively clear and concise, with shining but respectful moments of satirical hilarity. It's no wonder a movie was made from this book, as his writing lends itself well to visual interpretation, being direct, tersely descriptive, and leaving the majority of its thought up to the reader. A quick read. I'd like to check out more of his work.
