It's the night before Christmas, and Winnie the Pooh has the strangest feeling that something is missing. It's not his Christmas tree--that's festively decorated with candles tucked in empty honeypots. It's not snow--that's falling softly over the Hundred-Acre Wood. Then he realizes what's missing--he's forgotten to get gifts for all his friends! What is a forgetful bear to do? --back cover

Much better effort from Bruce Talkington. This book really feels like a Pooh book. It has some of his wonderful thoughts, he says "Oh Bother" a couple of times. The story starts off with Pooh mistaking Piglet for a snowman and just rolls with it when Piglet doesn't believe that he didn't recognise him. The story explains that Christmas is about being thoughtful and thinking of others, which Pooh does to the extreme whilst falling asleep.

A good story and I'm now looking forward to the next book in this collection.
