Dark and multilayered. Really enjoyed how this first volume unfolded,and I'm glad I have the second and third out the library already, to keep exploring this creepy, weird story.
Very interesting beginning of a saga fusing AI, folk magic & humanity's futurism angst. Warren Ellis returns to his beloved theme of technology plus/versus spirit world in a story supported by nice drawings by Declan Shalvey and meaningful color contrasts by Jordie Bellaire.
I'm eager to see where this goes on from here.
