Every once in awhile you need an easy read that is funny and entertaining. This is what Betsy is for. I love the snark and the attitude. Betsy is a completely real person, not a single dimension and not striving to fulfill some checklist of a heroine in a novel.

This book encompasses the birth of Baby Jon, Betsy's step-brother, the beginning of Betsy's half-sister the daughter-of-the-devil slide into evil, the ever troubles between Betsy and Sinclair, and a serial killer. Lots of fun.
