I went in with a wrong assumption that this will be a dog book in some way, it turned out to be more of an alien book. It's ok, I like both.
It seemed a bit preachy at times, esp. at the advice part, but then again, I love [b:Time Enough for Love|353|Time Enough for Love|Robert A. Heinlein|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1218664355l/353.SY75.jpg|75443] which is way more preachy and has a way longer and more ostentatious list of advice. So I guess I just wasn't the choir for this one.

Other than that, a solid adventure, a bit fun and a bit very serious. Lovely book.
