Really Wanted to Like This One

Characters are too quirked up to be relatable. Weird pacing and time-jump. This book had a lot of promise, with an intriguing enough art direction. I can forgive the odd pacing, as a common issue with reading graphic novels is how the reader paces the story themselves, so it could be user error, but the characterization was strongly lacking. Worth a gander. 3 stars for its ambition and strong conceptual backbone. Tentatively recommend.
