Libro chiaramente di transizione per aggiungere qualche personaggio (interessantissimo, sia chiaro) e far evolvere la situazione lasciata in sospeso dal primo titolo.
Percy and his friends must find Grover, who was ensnared by Polyphemus and also steal back the Golden Fleece in order to save their Half-Blood Camp from utter destruction. Love the Greek mythology and the characters are fun to watch develop.
The second installment in the series doesn't disappoint. Fast-paced and action packed, the story begins to settle and we begin to see where the plot is headed in the overall series. I especially enjoyed learning more about Annabeth and Chiron's history and based on the author's tantalizing bit of revealed information, it's not hard to see the roles these two characters will play in the end.
