Barnaby Rudge: A Tale of the Riots of Eighty (commonly known as Barnaby Rudge) is a historical novel by British novelist Charles Dickens. Excellent! I really enjoyed this; I especially love Barnaby: I wish his character was even more prominent.
Very much plot, or even "action", oriented, and less character-oriented, than some other novels by Dickens. Certainly fewer minor characters.
It helped that I read this faster than perhaps any of his other novels (I've only three left!).
