Black fire

I couldn't even finish this, which is an extremely rare thing for me. Badly needed an editor, and (I suspect) a fact-checker: instead of reading like a work of history, it read like a novel, implausibly certain of things that were said and things that went on that were highly unlikely to be documented. Shame, because it is an interesting period of the city's history - it deserves a better book.
