Review of 'Monkey' on 'Storygraph'

<spoiler>After the initial story of the monkey, how he came to be and his downfall, you could essentially read four or five of the encounters at the different towns and then skip to the end. The people/demons they encounter on their travels and the challenges they face essentially loop through a handful of set types. Nice look into a bit of old Chinese culture and cultural ideals though.</spoiler>
