Oreo Teeth reviewed Curious minds by Janet Evanovich (Knight and Moon -- 1)

Janet Evanovich is my guilty pleasure. I know it's not literature but I have too much fun to care so when I had the chance to request an advance review copy of a new series co-written with Phoef Sutton I jumped at the chance. It took me about a third of the book to start enjoying it but once I was in I had a blast. You can tell it's not an all-Janet book as it isn't peppered as much with her love of eccentric side characters as the Plumverse. Riley Moon is a much more methodical and straightforward protagonist. The comedy value comes all from Emerson Knight and the mystery takes up a lot more time than the comic relief does. Personally I could have used a bit more mayhem but it was still a fun cozy mystery.
