A tense, well-written ordinary person in a jam story in which an American woman visiting Puerto Vallarta before returning home to face a mess at home gets caught up between a dodgy but charming expatriot and a dodgy and threatening one. Scary picture of what the drug trade is doing to Mexico and how we are implicated.
