This is not my favorite book in the series. Still good but there's a rather very boring part in the middle that takes forever to conclude after they save Aedion and she stays with him and Rowan at her apartment, that could have gone much quicker. Also while the girl inside me is happy she gets to kiss Rowan, I loved them being friends .... The plot thickens, and the protagonists finally get to strike back at the evil that keeps the land in chains. And I'll finish this review another time. And so much more screen-time for Manon. And some serious ass-kicking courtesy of Aelin.
