The Gift of Fear is a book that I think everyone should read in today's world of online activity and easy access to personal information. It seems that stalking and obsessive-type behaviors are on the rise lately. So it is important for everyone, not just women to be aware and cautious when meeting and dealing with these types of personalities.

It is important for us to understand how others think and behave so we can become less reactionary to possibly dangerous situations. And this book explains perfectly and simply how these unstable people think and what drives them.

My only complaint about this book as I think the fact that the wording in this book is tailored to female readers is a mistake. Women are not the only gender on this planet that deals with harassment. And I think the wording turns off male readers by making them feel that …
