Slowly, people start moving into the house, filling it with noise, with laughter, and with tears. As the house comes alive again, Nan finds her family expanding. Her son comes home for the summer, and then an unexpected visitor turns all their lives upside-down.
A pretty good book. Most of the characters were pretty likable, but the situations seemed to be pretty easy. I enjoyed learning about their backgrounds, and how they got to where they were now, but I wish there would have been more conflict. Some of the characters did the whole finishing each others sentences a good bit, but it was cute nonetheless.
