Life Is Fair

Nora Kaye's life isn't what she thought it would be in her mid-twenties. A college dropout who works a dead-end office job she hates, Nora feels stuck in the past she's wished so hard to forget. She is plagued by memories of her ex-husband, Vincent, who cheated on her five years ago, and tries to mend her broken heart with one-night stands.

But this Thanksgiving weekend, Vincent is back, offering sincere apologies and begging for a second chance.

This weekend also marks one year since Nora ruined the big feast. At least, that's how her overbearing mother, Isobel, saw it. Instead of apologizing for her behavior, Nora stormed out of her childhood home, and has not been back since. But when Nora's sister, Delia, calls to invite her to this year's celebration, Nora can't say no to a home-cooked meal and the chance to be part of the family again.

The people Nora thought were gone forever are back, forcing her to reevaluate the most important relationships in her life. She soon realizes that her painful past has defined who she is and still affects every decision she makes today. To achieve happiness, love, and a successful career, she must decide which relationships are worth mending and whom she has to cut from her life forever.

Will she run again, or will she finally deal with her past?
