I'm so glad that I didn't know anything about this book before picking it up--except that the protagonist will die and come back. Actually, Ursula Todd dies many times. However, this is not a case of reincarnation. As Ursula eventually realizes, it is more like life as palimpsest.
This clever novel is thought-provoking. Why have I never heard of Kate Atkinson? At some point, I must read more of her work!
Not to say too much, but--this book is so cool and fresh. Do read it.
There are some great reviews, but obviously, I'm glad I didn't peek.
