Review of 'Prince of Dogs (Crown of Stars, Vol. 2)' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

Felt like a part two of the first book more than a proper sequel, but it arrived at a satisfying ending. More threads appear to be untangling in the arc of the series.

Alain seems pretty Jesus-y, which probably makes him an oddly good match for Tallia if that goes anywhere. He doesn't seem to be going anywhere though, stuff just happens around him.

Liath - I want to like. Her plot with Hugh is almost unbearable though. I really just want her nut up and torch him. Or torch me if I have to read another chapter of his abuse.

Unclear what's going on with Antonia. Definitely nothing good! Wolfhere also MIA.

Sapienta sucks. She's worse by association with Hugh. Hugh can eat a bag of dicks.

Glad to have Sanglant back.

I'm team Fifth Son. Most likeable character in the books so far.
