Review of 'Starter for Ten' on 'Goodreads'

Chock full of witty observations and pop culture references, but centered around a character so unlikable, and so resistant to growth, that his story becomes tedious and then stays that way. He’s shallow and aggravating, and seems to think that a few self-deprecating remarks redeem him for being an insensitive twerp. Worse yet, the romantic arc is unoriginal and winds its way to a resolution that is frankly insulting.
