Review of 'The Princess in Black' on 'Goodreads'

Read to my daughter during a fussy morning.

The concept is pretty interesting. The protagonist is a girly princess who has a secret identity as the "Princess in Black" a superhero. She enjoys both her girly princess life and the adventures she has as the hero. She has to hide her identity as the Princess in Black from nosy nobles who wouldn't approve of the athletic side of her activities.

The book does a pretty good job establishing the hero and someone who looks like he'll be a sidekick in later books. Has a nice little simple arc about saving goats from a hungry monster and being back in time for tea.

I think my daughter will get more of these.
