Ah yes. There are some things that are just not easy to explain to those outside their fairly specific area of effect. That said, you know how when you're a person with a gender identity best described as, "sure, ok", & you're at an age when some people go through and you're pretty sure you will too and you're wondering what that looks like for people "like you"? ...If I've a community out there I don't know about, please do say Hi! :)

Celeste E Orr: Cripping Intersex (2022, University of British Columbia Press) 5 stars

The intro has me jazzed. It really is frustrating how so many #intersex people will try to distance our community from disability and then are surprised Pikachu that we continue to have problems with pathologization, bodily autonomy, epistemic power, eugenics, etc. Positioning intersex as "not a disability" reinforces the medicalizing ableism that hurts both intersex and other disabled people.

Sorry, not a kinky stuff

PSA: if you ever used Feeld dating app, you need to know that all your data was available for virtually anyone for *very long time*.

This includes messages, photos, one-time messages, dating profile, likes and etc. But not just that, it was possible to impersonate you and send messages to anyone

This issue was found two times by two independent parties so most likely malicious/state actors knew about this. If someone manages to scrape this data, it might pop up somewhere for sale.

Worst part is that Feeld is silent about this.

Please, be safe and prepared as this data can be used for sextortion or worse.

It would help a lot if you’ll share this with people who might’ve been using Feeld. I’m posting about this because Feeld is popular in some places among the LGBTQA+.
