Quick shout-out to Bully Pulpit Games. I've just bought a paperback copy of Night Witches, and they supply a digital copy of the game for free.
That's great and lovely, but what I'm really impressed by is that the digital copy includes #ePub and Mobi versions, so I can read it on my #ereader. I've long said that I'd like to see more #RPG publishers produce ePub versions of their books.

I was curious about downloading #books from a Google Play/Books account to a #Kobo reader. Knowing most companies loves their DRM, I assumed there would be some hoops to jump through. Seemingly not. Legit "export as Epub" and off to reading. Only tested on books I've gotten at no cost. Anyone know there's any restrictions here?

I spent a few days writing an app to bulk modify epubs and update the otherwise static "about" and "alsoby" documents.
I went one step further and added a basic editor allowing me to directly modify the .xhtml files, save them, and generate a new epub without modifying the original.
A lot of work, and it still has some warts, but this baby is coming together.

Got got my new #eReader today; a #Kobo #Clara #Colour. I am not impressed.
Firstly, it's smaller than I had imagined. Barely bigger than my phone!
The screen is very dim without the backlight, which makes me worry how the battery life will be.
Worst of all, the first #epub I loaded up crashed it, and it takes about 2-3 seconds to turn a page.
