I’ve now began The Shapeless Unease by Samantha Harvey. I’ve decided to go down the rabbit hole. I annotate passage that resonate: “ all I ever seem to feel these days is the disappearance of who I think I am” this book is a memoir by Harvey of her time as an insomniac. It’s a bit existential and as I was always a Camus fan, i’m only five chapters in, and I’m hooked.

I knew a guy who used to compete in swimming with Michael Phelps. I can’t remember if it was in high school or college, but yeah: competed against the actual Michael Phelps.

If you are currently living in the USA, add #OnTryanny by Timothy Snyder to the top of you're #book #reading list now!
The author goes through the 20 Points and Lessons of Tyranny/Fascism through history - how to spot it, how it was done in the past by people and countries, and what it can look like now - it is a perfect spring board on how to direct your knowledge and focus.
Most importantly, it tells you ways you can fight against it (in each lesson learn what to teach and what you can do). Despite being written a few years ago, the information is currently relevant and actively happening under the current USA administration (2025). I hope things do not end up like how they have for America. Stay strong and fight against #Fascism!
