Fern and Übel mean business.

This is the last of my Frieren group for now! I'll be on a bit of a break as I work on two cosplays for Connichi this year. I'll also wear Fern again there!

Cosplay of Fern and Übel from "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End". I'm wearing a cosplay of Fern: A long, white linen dress with pintucks and buttons in the front, a long, black coat and boots. My wig is long, straight and purple, it has bangs. I have a prop of Fern's wooden magic staff. My friend is cosplaying as Übel: short, black dress, leather accessories and boots. She wears a green wig with bangs and has a prop of Übel's magic staff that is painted to look metallic. I'm standing in front of a half-height wall behind which a scenic outlook can be seen, as we were shooting at a castle in the landside. Übel is crouching in front of me in a dynamic, battle-ready pose. Both of us are holiding our weapons ready and looking at the camera.

New Manga Read - Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Volume 13

Volume 13 finished off very quickly, but in a satisfying manner, the plot where Frieren was sent back in time.

Then it immediately moves along into Frieren and company traveling along going on mini-side quests.

There are some more references to finding where Himmel ended up, but it's mostly a chill volume with an ending about an impending mission.

Well done. Still loving it.

Can't wait for the next volume.

New Manga Read - Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Volume 12

So wow. Volume 12.

The entire volume is set in an alternate past as Frieren is sent back in time to the party of heroes. She admits she's from the future without telling them anything about the future.

The whole volume tracks them trying to help Frieren find a way back to 80+ years in the future.

The ending, though, of the volume was unexpected and is entirely in Himmel the Hero's head...kind of. And I did not expect THAT to be one of his deep fantasies.

So yea...got to get Volume 13 soon.
