We gotta work harder at demystifying and not deifying
#TTRPG GMing. Doing it is a skill, like any other, that can be honed. It doesn't require putting in mountains of work, or having some kind of magical talent. This isn't to say that some people take to GMing better than others, but acting like GMing is some kind of wizardry is just so tired. To paraphrase the snippets I already posted: being a fan of each other is more important than writing up all of those stats and building a world. /1

I need to remember to reread UnFramed every year or so as a refresher. It's good to knock the cobwebs off of the great advice and get the affirmation of the things I've internalized. #ttrpg

Direwolf Digital is having a 20% sale that apparently includes Cortex Prime, as well as 50% off scratch and dent copies. They've not announced this anywhere though. To find the books you need to go to their store and then search for Cortex. Pretty much par for the course for them. #ttrpg

Is anyone interested in joining an ongoing D&D campaign?
We play online on alternate Sundays.
5e D&D, using primarily Kobold Press content (books provided by me)
Characters are 6th level, the campaign runs until 10th level. We use roll20 (free) to play and discord server for chat/voice. Players do not have to speak, we have had folks just type their actions and RP. But you do need a method of listening to the chat as it is primarily a voice-game.
