Aight so me and two other good folks are starting a tech workers' cooperative. We've got plenty of stuff against us.
None of us have worked in a workers' cooperative or other kind of democratic workplace before.
There are barely a handful workers' coops in Norway. The national umbrella org for coops in Norway is basically dead and doesn't care about workers' coops at all.
Our coop is geographically distributed evenly along Norway, which means our northernmost worker-member would have to drive 24 hours by car or 44 hours by public transport to reach our southernmost worker-member.

We've put in effort to reduce our weaknesses, and we've got things going for us too.
We've met and continue to meet with other workers' coops to learn from them and collaborate. We've got potential clients and pilot projects. We've got hardware. We've got tech and business know-how. We're working on the …

Being a bit sensitive to "incorrect" background noise (and having lived in a Dutch housing block with antisocial neighbors on both sides) one of the best things of our somewhat rural house is that I can play loud music knowing it won't bother anyone.
Also saves on bluetooth headphones when going in the garden..

Found someone to play Stationeers with while playing Baldurs Gate 3 with another group of people. First of all, I should reconsider to choose less time intensive games ...

Anyway, we are not creating a board to plan our station 😁 currently thinking about the power and air filtration.

Really happy I found someone to play Stationeers with, it's a great game but there is so much to do as a single player.

La setmana passada a l'escola dels meus fills vaig fer una xerrada sobre per explicar què són i animar-los a constituir una d'alumnes.

Als al·lots sembla que els va agradar molt. Són nous reptes que van més enllà de l'entorn de l'escola i poden aprendre moltíssim en el procés.

Algú més en té experiència? M'oferesc a acompanyar-vos si voleu fomentar una cooperativa d'alumnes a la vostra escola.

Hoping to pick up 3 copies of Elden Ring on Steam (if on the Winter Sale) tomorrow so I can coop with friends. I haven't played a Souls game in awhile, and neither of them have.

We're planning on doing a full Seamless Coop run, treat it like a group campaign for a good portion of the year.

Honoured to have been among the nominees at the West Regional Skills Awards and with good company, Ainslie Peters of CREW, who collaborated with me on a fantastic workshop this year on Worker Co-operatives in the Games Sector.

Looking forward to continue building on the success and future collaborations with CREW and others in the year to come.

Just finished Split Fiction yesterday.

I think this is a really nice game with many creative game mechanics. We had a lot of fun the whole time.
It is challenging on some parts but not frustrating at all.
Also the story is quite nice in my opinion.

If you search a online or couch co-op game for two players take a look at this one. Controller recommended

Also runs without issues on Linux via Steam.
