If you love books or history, and are visiting London, then the British Library is a must see. Not only is entry free, but there's some amazing pieces of historic literature on exhibition.

It includes things like an original first edition copy of Shakespeare's plays, a letter from Jane Austen to her sister; Oscar Wilde's handwritten draft of The Importance of Being Earnest; the handwritten draft of Monty Python's Spanish Inquisition sketch; John Lennon's handwritten lyrics for Strawberry Fields Forever; and a little document called the Magna Carta.

And that's just some of the documents, books, manuscripts, and more on display.
