I must have picked twenty from one over the past two weeks. I wish I had someone to them with, because they're perfectly ripe and super flavorful.

My great-great-grandfather grew tomatoes for money after he immigrated from . The he sold them at is still around and one of my favorite places, but it's in a different place. It turns out that the local chapter meets near where it used to be.

These always make me smile. MANY years ago, my wife bought a small packet of Lilly bulbs from a school fund-raiser. It was back when the PTA would have kids go door-to-door selling stuff to support school activities. I bunged them in the ground next to the day lillies and let them do their thing. We are now treated to a large display of these each July. I have no idea what the variety is, but it does not lessen the enjoyment. 😀
