And finally Flying Saucers The Startling Evidence of the invasion from Outer Space by Coral E. Lorenzen

Content warning literary review

"The Word for World is Forest" was just as brilliant of a scifi novella as I had expected. And the narration from John Skelley really brought it to life!

The dialogue, and the characters, sooo good. I feel like several of Selver's dialogue lines in particular are highly quoteable, but none more than this last one which you might've encountered before, spoken at the very end of the book.

"We can no longer pretend that we do not know how to kill."

It seemed wrong not to set up a Predator shot too, seen as I had all the stuff together. Not sure they ever made a Predator Door poster of the same style, I rectified that if so 😂

Remember that classic Aliens door poster most of us Aliens fans had as kids?.

I thought "I wonder if I could recreate it in miniature?" So I grabbed a Xenomorph figure, smashed a dolls house door to smithereens and lit that baby up! I'm pretty chuffed with the outcome!

All practically shot. Real smoke, lighting, miniatures and figures. I added a bit of digital goz to the Aliens mouth but that's all.
