Tried to speed paint this #Christmas Halfling for #BloodBowl. Also try to quickly finish this #Cthulhu model. Failed miserably on both counts because both times I got lured* into doing metals with #NMM

Captain Christmas, the Christmas halfling, apparently a blood bowl Star Player because he's got the kneecaps and shoulder pad but also a nice red cape and Santa hat with golden Star on the white fur brim. This specimen is positioned on a snowy base and wearing socks which have the big toes sticking out through holes; he's got his left foot poised on what looks to be a hero rock but is definitely a Christmas gift. In his right hand he's holding a candy cane which is probably some sort of a magical weapon

This is Captain Cthulhu, the blood bowl big guy. It's Cthulhu, so he's got massive wings and a face full of tentacles, but because he's blood bowel cthulhu he's also wearing a shoulder pad with the compulsory skull on his right shoulder and a squid decorated vambrace on his left arm and for some reason he's got the inside of his Wings decorated with skulls hanging off chains.

Speaking of chains, this model is absolutely PLASTERED with them, as he's got them on his right arm in lieu of a vambrace, his left ankle as a shin guard, around his trousers as a belt, strapped across his torso as a strap for his pauldron, AND finally assured bit across is left knuckles as a knuckle duster. And I painted all of this s*** in non metallic metal which was rough lol

And of course there's the mottling on the wings. F*** that why I do I choose to Dot individual spots with two colours all over them

Believe or not, I slept poorly while it was printing o.o
(This is pure PLA, and it is blue because I rubbed it with jewelry wax to smooth out the print lines)
