Tashi Kyil Monks Tibetan Buddhist monks visiting Berea College at Hutchins Library. Four monks in dark red and orange garb, men, in front of them the surface where the mandala will be made. Behind them a small altar with a photo of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

Three of the monks, seated on ground, begin work on laying the colored sand to eventually create the mandala image. The fourth monk is walking around, answering questions from audience.

The Tashi Kyil Monks Tibetan Buddhist monks just arrived at our library. They will be speaking on campus, and they will also be creating a sand mandala in our main floor during this week.
