Wildbow: Worm (EBook, 2013, Independently published)

An introverted teenage girl with an unconventional superpower, Taylor goes out in costume to find …

Thrilling, action packed and philosophical on the side.

I find it a well written story, engaging and with good pace. It is a reading for young_adult a la light novel type, which means is good with text-to-speech listening. Some tags are: #FemaleProtagonist, #action, #parahumans, #bugs, #politics, #heroes, #villains

My villains class has been exploring the difference in depicting a singular villain vs. systemic evil.

An evil character might represent a system of oppression so it's easier to pin down & examine. But this strategy can also be reductive or turn into wish fulfillment that never confronts the big issue.

(We need stories that comfort. We also need stories that work for change.)

How do you write about evil?
