if just a hair's breadth away from Fahrenheit 451.

The book in question is a children's story. It gentle covers the concept of banning books.

I would like to see the banned presentation as well as read the book.

It sounds really sensitive and wonderfully educational in a child-centered way.

Well, here's one thing SF city government is doing that's good, at least! Also nice to see the National Guard used for something helpful.

- San Francisco residents who get CalFresh will receive gift cards from the city with emergency funds to cover the missing benefits.

- California is fast tracking $80 million in emergency funding to food banks and deploying the National Guard to ramp up staffing at those foodbanks to distribute food.

- Several Bay Area restaurants, including Al Pastor Papi in San Francisco, are offering free meals for children who receive CalFresh benefits and discounts for parents.
