The best way to talk about Discovery when you have nothing but negative things to say is keep your mouth shut.

I thoroughly enjoyed today's new episode of #StarTrekDiscovery, "Face the Strange". :-) Really makes me want to go through all 5 seasons of the show again after the series finale and analyze everything in detail! 🔍 I'm looking forward to that! 👌👌
No spoilers please!
Big thanks to everyone who let me know that Saru's couch in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Jinaal", which also appeared in Sneed's abode in #StarTrekPicard's "Disengage", is actually a Terrazza sofa by Ubald Klug, also appearing on #DoctorWho in "Robots of Death" + "Timelash". :-)
Slug-o-Cola really must taste delicious! After having been introduced in #StarTrekDS9's "Profit and Lace"↘️⬇️, it first re-appeared in #StarTrekPicard's "Disengage"⬆️↗️, then in #StarTrekLowerDecks' "Parth Ferengi's Heart Place"↖️ and now in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Jinaal"↙️. 👌👌
A close-up at the briefly seen dead ina raptor, an animal native to the Trill homeworld, as seen in the #StarTrekDiscovery episode "Jinaal". I wonder what the basis of this creature was when the prop was made!
There are several different Vulcan meditation poses:
The 2-fingered: "Star Trek IV"⬅️ + "Repression"➡️
The 4-fingered: "Plato's Stepchildren"⬅️, "Star Trek: The Motion Picture"⏺️, "Gravity"➡️
The IDIC-fingered: "Star Trek II"⬅️ + #StarTrekDiscovery's "Jinaal"➡️. 👌
It was awesome that Arav, the Osnullus serving on the bridge of USS Discovery since season 1 of #StarTrekDiscovery ("The Butcher's Knife Cares Not for the Lamb's Cry"⬇️), finally got a name in "Jinaal"⬇️😀.
Inspired by @GreatestTrek , but is the couple name of Booker and Burnham "BookBurn"?
A lot of people who complain about not knowing the bridge crew in #StarTrekDiscovery confuse an ensemble show with a show that has many characters around a chore character. This is not an ensemble show, just like TOS wasn't one. Tell me what backstory TOS gave to Sulu. To Chekov. Uhura. It was all Kirk with Spock as secondary character, just like Discovery is a Michael Burnham show with Saru as secondary character. We didn't know ANYTHING but the names of the rest of the crew in TOS. Not even from McCoy. TNG was an ensemble show and gave their bridge crew backstories. In this regard Discovery has already given us more backstory to the side crew than usual and those who complain are the ones who simply want to hate.
Whoa, #startrekdiscovery is still going? I lost track during season 3.
For somebody who has extensively researched and written about the Federation logo, seeing it then described and called "logo" (people constantly lecturing me not to use logo but emblem instead) in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Red Directive" was awesome! :-)

Promellians only had two eyes, as seen in #StarTrekTNG's "Booby Trap" (1st row) but the statues on Lyrek have four eyes in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Under the Twin Moons". Maybe the Promellians took over an enemy facility (from the Menthars?) and used "what was already there"⬇️?
It has been stated that Rayner in season 5 of #StarTrekDiscovery ("Under the Twin Moons"➡️) is a Kellerun (#StarTrekDS9's "Armageddon Game"⬅️). Maybe the Kellerung we saw on DS9 all had free earlobes, while Rayner has attached earlobes, similar to humans. 👌
I'm intrigued by this alien delegate, seen in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Red Directive"⬅️. Really reminds me of a Selay (#StarTrekTNG's "Lonely Among Us"➡️). Could it be one?
