As a warm up for my re-read of Neuromancer I re-read three shortstories from the shortstory Collection "Burning Chrome" that William Gibson wrote before Neuromancer. These stories (Burning Chrome, Johnny Mnemonic and New Rose Hotel) present the setting, The Sprawl, and som characters. E.g. Molly Millons and the Finn. Molly plays a vital part of Neuromancer. They are worth a read, especially Johnny Mnemonic which is also available as a movie with Keanu Reeves 🙂

And after seeing a Guardian Australia article describing the billionaire architects of the current proto-apocalypse as a bunch of weird losers, I do think that I might have made the as-yet-unnamed villain of my daft comic Circlepunk a bit too cool.

He's relatively good looking. I made him a smoker to portray narcissism and callousness... but maybe I should have just made him a myopic twat in a hoodie.

Reposting a link to the first part of my fantasy-cyberpunk comic, Circlepunk.

When a spirit wakes up in the body of a ritually murdered woman, they take revenge.

But trapped in a prison of flesh, in a United Kingdom that has just thrown off years of dictatorship, they have to make friends and find allies to find out why they can't leave, and who would have imprisoned them in the first place

Maybe 2025 will be the year of re-reads. I have a couple of books I really want to read again. I'm starting off with Neuromancer. I read i back in 1992 or something. My english was not that good back then so not sure if I understood i completly. 🙂 Any one read this and have thoughts about it?
