¡Ya está aquí la portada de mi nueva novela! "No soy yo -2081-", una historia de cyberpunk editada por Letra R, ambientada en un futuro cercano. La portada es una genialidad del ilustrador Alejandro Z. Ortega, que ha sabido plasmar en la imagen todo lo que he quise transmitir con palabras. I originally planned to finally make the trek down south to visit @benbrown's favorite coffee shop and check out some zines, but it's hella (crazy!) windy here today and it looks like most of the seating at that place is outside, so I think I'm gonna postpone until tomorrow.

So, I instead decided to inject a little bit of in my run-of-the-mill life and walk the quarter mile or so to a local coffee shop in the hopes that it would not be packed as per yoosh. Figured I'd save some carbon emissions while also getting in a tiny lil' bit of exercise while going nomad for an hour or two.

At least this way I won't have to fight traffic or destroy the environment while I'm gettin' my walkabout tendencies satisfied. But I will say that today …

"Pandoras Prozessor Sockel" ist im Megaplex Neo Kalkutta im Jahr 2043 angesiedelt.
Alles fängt damit an, dass 0byte und Quake einen Chip mit Informationen transportieren & abliefern sollen, wobei einiges (fast alles) schief geht. Kurz darauf bekommen sie einen neuen Auftrag, mit üppiger Bezahlung, der viele neue Probleme aufwirft. Und schneller als erwartet ist die Kacke nicht nur am dampfen, sie brennt.

Es increíble como la idea de la distopía que previnieron muchos con el como una protesta y abrir los ojos a que la mayoría de la gente ignoro, aún ignora y lo vio/ve como simple ciencia ficción ignorando su mensaje de alarma, hoy cada día el mundo se parece más a ese mundo que el movimiento Cyberpunk nos avisaba con "cuidado", sobre todo EEUU donde los tech-bros de Silicon Valley y demás tecno-feudalismos están controlando cada vez más las bases de la sociedad y gobierno, abusando de poder, ignorando la privacidad, centralizando a la gente en el ecosistema propietario de sus productos usando a la población como vacas de datos para su beneficio económico https://www.publico.es/internacional/jeff-bezos-anuncia-the-washington-post-publicara-opiniones-contrarias-libre-mercado.html https://hispagatos.org/post/que_es_cyberpunk/
