I used to work in the head office of a major UK health and beauty retailer (yeah, that one). A skin chart for suncare came across my desk that equated white skin with ânormal skinâ. I queried this, and was told that it was for use in the backshop only, so should shut up and get back in my lane. It ended up on the shopfloor and in the papers, of course. They genuinely couldnât see what was wrong with it.
