Ich war als Kind begeistert von den Büchern von Richard Scarry, habe dann als Erwachsener auch mal die englischen Originale gelesen — und bin anhand dessen draufgekommen, dass Scarry eine geniale deutsche Übersetzerin hatte.
Sie heißt (hieß?) Annemarie von Hill, und über sie ist kaum biografische Information zu finden.

today I started reading "Death on the Down Beat: An Orchestral Fantasy of Detection", a novel from the British Library Crime Classics colleection. it is constructed as a epistolary novel, which makes for an interesting change to "normal" crime novels.
