"Seven million people show up, but don’t make the front page.

Last weekend, the largest collection of public gatherings in modern US history took place, across all 50 states.

Only once in all of American history have more people turned out in demonstrations on a single day. That was on April 22, 1970, as part of the original Earth Day movement."

Been trying to write something since the 19th, after seeing scenes from the “No Kings” protests. Been thinking about the words of one King, though: Martin Luther King Jr.

What started the train of thought was seeing a woman at a protest (not sure where exactly), giving a dude grief over being there with a Palestinian flag. Her concern—as she expressed it—was that the media would focus on him, and not the “intended” purpose of the protest.

This made me think of King’s “Letter From Birmingham Jail” where he stated

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

Still thinking about this.

If you watch the whole thing, great. If, though, you only have time, say, for the first five and a half minutes, you'll come away knowing a lot.

MAGA's triggered right now. It's being reported that social media feeds are being swarmed by MAGAs slinging insults at anyone who dares to question the majesty of and sagacity of Donald.

What has them triggered:

1. The big turnout for No Kings, which they're tried to pretend was a tiny turnout of paid agitators.
