Evening what's an "undercard" matchup/fight that's way better than the "main event"?

For those that don't understand the terminology, in wrestling/boxing, etc, the main event is the final big fight that ends the show with the top fighters or for the championship, etc, & the undercard are the fights before them, usually considered "lesser" or not as important.

For this Q, you can apply it to anything, not just combat sports. Eg, a game boss fight way better than the final fight, a fight between side characters that's way better than the one between the mains we're supposed to care about, or in sports, a playoff series better than the finals that year, etc

New read - Delicious in Dungeon, Volume 13

My goodness! Laios outsmarted the demon.

We got some great backstory of the demon who created the dungeon. What a great moment to really understand the character better.

But yea, this was a moment where Laios outsmarted one of the most powerful beings in the entire universe.

But, at what cost? That's how it ends. We're not sure yet.

Final volume next. Thankfully, I already have it from my library.

Buying new manga will have to wait until I finish Golden Kamuy.

And read all of Dorohedoro.

Reread the entirety of Ranma 1/2.

Get through my complete hardcover collection of Knights of Sidonia.

Manage to be astonished by the 4 perfect collection volumes of Blade of the Immortal I already own.

Finally finish Maison Ikkoku.

... I may have a lot on my plate there.

So Shonen Punx! Vol. 1 comes out Feb, 1 2025. If your local shop uses Ingram you can probably get them to order it for you.
