As someone who enjoys the odd bit of #Regency #fiction (hello #Bridgerton and #DoctorWho #Rogue!), but who has never read any Austen, “It is a Truth Universally Acknowledged That We Shall Return Once Again to the Regency” by @natania taught me a lot and made me want to learn (and read!) more!

I’ve added a link to a précis of a Netflix-sponsored study that gives stats on improvements and remaining gaps in their representation. Would caution that many of these shows aren’t getting renewed as Netflix gets more focused on immediate viewing minutes. You’ll see #Bridgerton & #Lupin profiled there, but there’s a lot more that’s worth supporting. And unfortunately some great shows that were cancelled too soon. . .
