Happy Birthday punk.photos - also Happy Birthday punkstodon.de

One year ago, we both went live. Both on the same day. Without knowing each other before. Funny coincidence.

A lot of things have happened since that day.
We serve together now more than 200 people with punk content.

If you are still on Meta or Twitter, spread the word there. Thx

My new buddy Dave “Spinach” Malinsky skating between bands at last night’s show. Beton Armé had me dancing my middle aged butt off. And then their drummer skated with my husband and Dave and we all hung out. Good times.

To the uninitiated, moshing can seem akin to a bar brawl. But it is. in fact, an act of personal liberation and community building with a storied history. Moreover, it's an act that might actually be good for you and which beholden to strict etiquette and studied physics:

Baltimore Punks! Come join us at The Lab for a Switch to Fediverse event. If you're seeing this, you're already on Fedi, so get your friends to come.

We will be discussing what Mastodon and the Fediverse are, why we should own our own social media, and then everyone will make an account and follow each other!

"Circassian culture was often exoticised within Russia ... we carried a kind of internalised self-doubt, shaped by Soviet and post-Soviet attitudes that framed local culture as backward"

XTC released their debut studio album, White Music, January 20, 1978.

It features the singles "Science Friction," "Statue of Liberty," and "This Is Pop."

We're really enjoying the influx of punks into the Fediverse, and are thankful for the networks and servers that are popping up. We appreciate you! We've just uploaded a video collage for All Billionaires Are Bastards in 2022 to punktube.net
