Libraries in almost every major city in , and many smaller ones, hosted 'Brave Books' events this weekend, which promoted this extremist publisher's storybooks under the guise of freedom of speech. The events were supported by Citizens Defending Freedom, aka 'Moms for Liberty in Suits' which is simultaneously seeking to ban 100s of books in .

"Fort Worth PD was out for blood today. A handful of drag defenders and medics were brutally arrested. We need help assisting those who were hurt/arrested, please share and help out if you're able."

Local news reports that these violent arrests happened during a counter to fascist group Protect Texas Kids, which is led by Kelly Neidert, who regularly coordinates with Proud Boys, Groypers, and white supremacists. Neidert was joined by New Columbia Movement, a fascist ultra-right Catholic group that rallies alongside other neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups.
