We get another really good look at Livingston in Picard's ready room fish tank in #StarTrekTNG's "Ménage à Troi" when the Captain informs Wesley Crusher of his field promotion to the rank of full ensign. :-)
Its holder doesn't want you to know this, but my sources tell me the Sacred Chalice of Riix is actually just an old clay pot with mold growing in it.
This moment in "Devil's Due" is one of the first shots in season 4 of #StarTrekTNG where a piece of furniture is strategically placed or the camera is positioned in a way to hide Gates McFadden's pregnancy. There'll be more examples like this as the season progresses.
The first tea cup that Picard ever drank his ready room "Tea, Earl Grey, hot"⬆️ from was a Bodum tea cup, designed by George Sowden Bodum in 1987 ↙️. The cup only appears once, in #StarTrekTNG's "Pen pals"↘️ and was after that replaced by the smaller black black Bodum Bistro cup.
#StarTrekTNG's "Devil's Due"⬆️features a nice shot of the ready room replicator which wasn't part of the set until "Contagion"⬇️ when it replicates a plant instead of a cup of tea. You can actually see the replicator door slide open in that episode! :-)
