Star Wars: Master of Evil by Adam Christopher: As soon as I saw that there was a new canon novel focused on Darth Vader, I knew I would need to prioritize it. And thankfully it lived up to my expectations. Set shortly after Revenge of the Sith, this is early in Darth Vader's existence. We get a glimpse of the complexities of his relationship with the Emperor, often through the viewpoint of another main character. I would recommend this one for sure.

Of all the Star Wars movies that have been released since the original trilogy, this one is definitely my favorite. The cast is amazing.

All shot using real lighting, figures and a bit of tree bark for the rocky background.

finished reading Splinter of the Mind's Eye last night, part of my decision to read some "classics" of Star Wars fiction. decent enough idea, not high literature, interesting as a snapshot of an alternative to the direction Star Wars might go. Will check out Thrawn next.
