When I have a #bajillion dollars of #fuckyoumoney I'm going to buy each and every one of those online #product #manuals sleaze/ad/malware "use our download app to download the thing you need" sites, strip out all the bullshit and list all the files in static #html pages by #oem and appliance like
`washers_dryers/hitachi_dryers.html`
that you can search with `CTRL+F`. It should not be this hard to find the manual for old home #appliance folks.

I dream that one day we can build the cost of recycling and materials recovery into the price of the every new item we buy. We did it with soda cans, where recyclers refund part of your purchase price when you recycle your containers; why not do it with everything from cars to TVs and computers? Get a refund when you turn in your used device for manufacturers to recycle.
Turning in your used products for recycling should be free, or yield a small amount of cash in return for this to work. Companies should be required to take back their products and pay for their disassembly and materials recovery. That will encourage them to design products that can be easily separated for recycling.
Only by taking âexternalitiesâ and building them into the price of an item can we price products correctly for their lifetime impact on the environment. We âŚ

As a #company, if you release a new #version of your #product, and it immediately causes the #price of #used examples of the previous product to jump to 50% more than the #new one, then you know you have #failed the #consumer, utterly.

A bit of a change at new job with additional responsibilities, so here are my new/current books being read concurrently.

The answer is yes, it most certainly does, so I while I wanted to continue to engage and meet people,my domain kinda sucked and I never gave a proper #introduction.
I solved the domain issue, so figured I'd take care of the other with a proper first post.
