Great book for reading aloud or independent read.

A great readaloud, and a fitting conclusion to the Princess Academy books, although I'd be equally happy to discover another sequel.

These books are published with very cutesie covers, and they're not at all little cute books. There's a lot to dig into and discuss, on politics, sexism and growing up (working from memory here, we've read a few other books since this one). My audience were 9 and 12 and we all enjoyed it.

Another dystopian trilogy, more star crossed lovers. This one is set in a future America, splintered apart by war. More focused on the people and much less on the horrors I very much enjoyed this, although I was almost dissatisfied by the ending.
