This is not a good book. I started with the audiobook but I couldn't get on with the Norwegian accents, which I assume are terrible renditions. I knew the setting was post-apocalyptic Scotland and so thought at first it was really bad Scottish accents. But no. The werebears are from Norway and looking for their ancestral homeland. The heroine is so annoying. If I could remove all her inner dialogue I think it would be an improvement.

finished reading All Systems Red [Dramatized Adaptation] by Martha Wells (Murderbot Diaries, #1)

Martha Wells, David Cui Cui, Michael John Casey, Rayner Gabriel, Khaya Fraites, Zeke Alton, Alejandro Ruiz, Aure Nash, Bradley Foster Smith, Holly Adams, Megan Dorminy, Natalie Van Sistine: All Systems Red [Dramatized Adaptation] (AudiobookFormat, Graphic Audio)

A murderous android discovers itself in All Systems Red, a tense science fiction adventure by …

That was fun. I wonder how much I missed listening to an audio drama version over the standard audiobook. They chose a male actor for murderbot's voice, so having a male actor announced for the show doesn't seem as weird as I imagine it would if you had read text and imagined a different or no voice.

Lucy's annoyance with Holly was so obviously about feeling like she was stealing Lockwood away from her that it was hard to like her for good sections of this book. Not saying it's an inaccurate depiction of how people act. Just does not get my sympathies when she finally accuses Holly of a bunch of insults that Holly never actually threw her way.
