This is a most interesting and relevant historical (period) thriller. The plot and context are quite reflective of today's America. The fascist leanings of the pre-WW2 US and today's post November 2020 America are both disturbing and astonishing. If you are unfamiliar with the historical context associated with American isolationism and fascism, this novel provides an excellent, and entertaining, tutorial.
