t's only February as I write this, but this book is a contender for best book I'll read this year. The deep ocean is a marvelous and mysterious place, providing unrecognized value to humanity. We are uniquely poised to protect it for the benefit of all, and we have the means and responsibility to do so.

With a fantastic combination of compassion and neuroscience, Dr. Leschziner takes us through a sampling of the senses. This fantastic book helps you recognize that objective reality is a bit more subjective than we would like.

A collection of engaging short stories all woven together; they're all so good it'll leave you frustrated wanting more. I can't decide if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but if you like short stories, you'll love these.

I think the only reason for this book's popularity was the Vietnam war. The book is poorly structured and wastes a lot of time to say "it's all pointless."
