Some lovely turns of phrase, intriguing plot and good characters. Annoying writing style however. A good, while not entirely excellent, exploration of the issue at hand.

I like / am trying to read more of: Sci Fi; Women writers; POC authors; Global South / subaltern perspectives; socialist and ecological stories; History; British literature; Russian, Central & Eastern European literature.
I'd like to get to the point where I'm regularly reading new stuff but we'll see.
